The artist, Jill Park, is a native Floridian and lives with her husband, in Punta Gorda. They have three grown sons.  While taking art classes at Florida Gulf Coast University, she took a small job as an illustrator for a coloring and activity book for children. Jill also participated in juried student exhibitions.  After graduation, she taught classes at the Summer Kid’s Art Camp, located at the Visual Arts Center, in Punta Gorda.  Jill has been a member of the Charlotte County Art Guild, and has participated in member shows. In April, 2010 she was awarded Artist of the Month by the Arts and Humanities Council of Charlotte County. During that time, she was in 4 shows (one man exhibits) through the Art in Public Places program.
